One of the biggest reasons coaches struggle to sign clients isn’t a lack of expertise, a small audience, or not having the right program. It’s because they aren’t making offers consistently.
You can have the best coaching program in the world, but if people don’t know what you offer—or how to take the next step—you’re leaving money (and impact!) on the table.
That’s why one of the key principles of the Visibility Power Hour is to make an offer every single day. But that doesn’t mean you have to post a sales pitch on social media 24/7.
👉 Some offers should be made publicly in your content (social media posts, stories, emails).
👉 Others should be done privately in DMs (direct messages with warm leads and connections).
The key is balancing both so that you’re nurturing potential clients in multiple ways.
So, how do you do that without sounding like a broken record? By rotating between different types of offers.
In this post, I’ll walk you through the five essential types of offers you should be making every day to keep your audience engaged, nurture potential clients, and grow your coaching business!

Why You Should Be Making Offers Daily (Both Publicly & Privately)
Many coaches hesitate to make daily offers because they’re afraid of “bothering” people or sounding salesy. But here’s the truth:
🚀 People need multiple touchpoints before they invest in coaching. It often takes 7-12 interactions before someone makes a decision. If you’re not consistently reminding them of your offer, they’ll forget.
🚀 Your audience is always growing. New people are discovering you every day. Just because you posted about your offer last week doesn’t mean everyone saw it!
🚀 Not every offer is a hard sell. Making an offer doesn’t always mean pitching a high-ticket coaching program. It could be as simple as inviting someone to a free resource, a conversation, or an event.
🚀 DMs are where real conversions happen. Many clients won’t just click a link in a post—they’ll need a direct conversation before saying yes. That’s why making offers privately in the DMs is just as important as making them publicly.
When you shift your mindset to making offers as a way of serving your audience, it becomes easier (and more exciting) to show up consistently.
Now, let’s get into the five types of offers you should be making every day—some in posts, some in DMs, and some in both!
1. The Direct Offer: Sell Your Coaching Program (Posts & DMs)
Let’s start with the most obvious one: inviting people to work with you directly.
At least 2-3 times per week, you should be making a clear, direct offer for your coaching services. That means:
✅ Publicly (Post): Sharing details about your coaching program, explaining the benefits, and including a call to action (DM me, apply here, book a call, etc.).
✅ Privately (DMs): Reaching out to warm leads who have shown interest in your content, engaged with past posts, or downloaded your freebie, and personally inviting them to work with you.
Example Post (Career Coach):

Example DM (Career Coach):
Hey [Name], I saw your comment on my post about job searching. Are you currently looking to switch careers? I help professionals find jobs they love—want to chat about your goals? 😊
👉 Action Step: If you aren’t making at least 2-3 direct offers in posts and DMs per week, increase it!
2. The Low-Commitment Offer: Invite Them to a Free Call or Event (Posts & DMs)
Some people in your audience aren’t ready to invest yet, but they are ready for a smaller next step. That’s why you should regularly invite them to a:
✅ Publicly (Post): Free discovery call, challenge, masterclass, or workshop.
✅ Privately (DMs): Sending a personal invite to people who have expressed interest in working with you but haven’t taken action yet.

✅ Publicly (Post): Promoting a free PDF guide, checklist, mini-training, or quiz.
✅ Privately (DMs): Sending a freebie to someone who asks a question related to your niche or engages with your content.

✅ Privately (DMs): If someone inquires about your coaching but isn’t sure, share a success story to help them see what’s possible.

5. The Engagement Offer: Invite a Conversation (Posts & DMs)
✅ Publicly (Post): Creating posts that encourage comments (polls, questions, “drop a keyword” posts).
✅ Privately (DMs): Following up with those who engage on your posts and turning the conversation into an offer.
